Sometimes, it’s about the beer…
and music.
I’ve still been down in the salt mines, working on Book 2 and such, but made sure I had the time this weekend to go out and have a few Texas Beers, including a great one from Grapevine Brewery — their Sir Williams brown ale. I ate some steamed mussels, had Key Lime pie in a jar, watched a violent, British crime movie (Hyena), started reading Benjamin Percy’s THE DEAD LANDS and Ken Liu’s THE GRACE OF KINGS, and “played” in a couple of intramural basketball games.
It’s all about balance, lol…
