Radio City Music Hall

I’m a big music fan…But I don’t generally listen to my favorite music while first drafting writing – I find it too distracting, although that’s not exactly true for revisions. That’s not to say I don’t listen to anything during that first go around – between iTunes and Pandora, I have a plethora of New Age stuff to listen to (my daughters call it “whale music”), that provides just enough texture and back noise to help drown out the dogs barking (or snoring), a distant TV, or the wind moving my porch furniture around (it’s amazing how windy it is here at the outer edge of Texas). Here are some of the tunes I’m listening to lately; my current favorites…maybe they’ll become yours as well.
